MIGHT -- EEE -- TAAA -- CCOOO. If you remember the radio commercials and feel compelled to sing along, then this review might be for you. Along with many other reviewers, I remember Mighty from back in it's heyday back in the early 2000s. The food was amazing and the prices were great. Ingredients were fresh, and the ambiance was like a neighborhood country store. You ran into someone you know every single time you stopped in. They had tons of vegetarian options since the original owner's daughter was a vegetarian.
Then the ownership changed and the quality went down. They offered the same kinds of menu items but everything became more packaged and less fresh. Management was sleeping on the job and lots of orders came out with mistakes and mishaps. Business must have gone down though, because in the past few times that I've been there they've made significant strides and it actually got a little better. It's still not what it was, but it is passable again. I encourage people who may have sworn this place off to try it again.
They've expanded the menu to include more foodie-style exotic offerings and crazy meat combinations for inside your taco. They also offer whole wheat tacos now, which I greatly appreciate. The veggie burrito needs more lettuce and tomato. The menu says that it is 3x the fillings and I'm honestly not sure how that's possible with what you get, but it's less than $2.50 so I guess that makes sense... but I'd happily pay $3.50 for a little more burrito.
The thing is, it's NOT Mexican. It's fast food. -

If you're looking for cheap and quick comfort food Mighty Taco is the place to go. In Buffalo, if you even say the words "Taco Bell" people shutter because their loyalty to this place; and fairly enough it's because Mighty has the better food. My favorite is the Three Cheese Nacho Burrito. With 3 types of cheese, beef, hot sauce, and crunched up nacho chips, I find myself craving this burrito late at night after a long day of work (or basically all the time).

This is literally one of the worst mighty tacos I've ever been in. I created an account specifically because my last few experiences were so horrible. First, they never get your order right. My vegetarian friend ordered a meatless burrito and they, of course, screwed it up and gave her one with meat. Absolutely disgusting, thank you Sam:). Gordon Ramsay would be shook.

I come here every single night of every week of every month of every year with every member of my family. we all wear matching mighty taco shirts and sing until our lungs don't work no more. All of us order the world famous..... Banderito!! the epitome of Tex-buff-mex flavor. They're so spicy that my son drinks at least 3 bottles of my wife's milk to tame the burn. And my obese older son, Zeke, can't keep his filthy mitts of my food so sometimes I have to get rough with him, but it's all party of dinner time with the steelflex fam! Thanks for helping my wife with dinner every night lol! Not like that woman ever does anything for the family. All in all good mighty taco location with average food and attractive employees.

Food is fine but oh my god the music is terrible.
Like, really bad. I don't know who chooses the music at this place but they might be better off in another position.
